The Malaysian Entrepreneurs’ Development Association (PUMM) Selangor State Liaison Committee hosted a corporate visit to a public listed company, Signature on the 7th of July 2022. This event also included a sharing session by the CEO and speeches from our guest speakers, Mr. Chiau Haw Choon and Skyler Chong.
Signature was founded in the year 1994 and has since grown far beyond by transforming into a public listed company today. Currently, Mr. Chiau Haw Choon is the CEO of Signature, and he owns 5 listed companies. In the past, he had the idea of dropping out of school because of his lack of interest in studies. Fortunately, his friends and family did not give up on him and persuaded him to continue his studies, which allowed him to successfully transform a traditional family business into a public listed company, which is now worth a billion. The company has expanded from having just 70 employees to 1,300 employees. At the age of 32, he had become the youngest president of a public listed company, and at age 33, he was the youngest individual to win the EY 2017 Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
On the other hand, Skyler Chong is currently the President of Signature Retail, and the company’s Art Direction Design Director. With 13 years of interior design and construction experience, he is in charge of the interior design and his innovative nature also creates a healthy ecosystem for Signature.
Our National President, Tan Lay Seong, IPP Dato’ Tony Looi, Deputy National President, Nelson Beh and Central Committee Members together with Jeff Ho, the Selangor State Liaison Chairman were present alongside the rest of the committee and members. Last but not least, special appreciation goes to Monica Chong, the Organizing Committee Chairperson.

Signature 成立于1994年 并如雨后春笋般的迅速成长到今天成为上市公司。
当天分享嘉宾为 Mr. Chiau Haw Choon 和 Skyler Chong。
Mr. Chiau Haw Choon 现任Signature 执行总裁， 及坐拥5家上市公司。他分享到，曾经的他还因为学习不好而产生辍学念头， 好在身边的朋友家人们都不放弃他，劝说他继续深造，从而让他成功地将传统家族企业转型为上市企业。团队人员也由70人拓展至 1300人，并带着团队成功创造业绩10亿的帝国。当时32岁的他就已经成为最年轻的上市企业总裁，33岁成为最年轻荣获 EY 2017年度企业家奖。
Skyler Chong 现任 Signature Retail 的总裁，同时也是该公司的艺术指导设计总监，拥有13年的室内设计与建造经验的他，为 Signature 创新室内设计并打造健康的生态系统。
